Description

Kala Namak or “black salt” is another version of the Himalayan pink salt. Kala Namak is a rock salt with a sulphurous, pungent smell used in the Indian subcontinent. It is also known as “Himalayan black salt“, and is manufactured from the salts mined in the regions surrounding the Himalayas

Black salt has antioxidant properties and has surprisingly low sodium levels. It also contains important minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium, which are essential to healthy bodies. Black salt stimulates bile production in the liver, and helps control heartburn and bloating.
